Hi everyone! My name’s Tia and I’ll be the Culture editor for the magazine this year.

I applied for the role because I believe that discovering new cultures is an inevitable part of life and an experience that should be shared with as many people as possible. I am very excited to be working on this as culture is such a broad topic that there is never too much that can be said about it!

During my time as editor, I want to make others aware of what the Culture section encompasses by bringing writers and readers together, bouncing ideas off one-another and discovering what is important to the people around us.

Ultimately, in a world in which we have to stand up against those who try to divide us, I want to find articles that celebrate our differences and show just how important diversity and culture are.
