Hi there! My name is Harvey and I’m a Third Year German student and. I’ll be editing the German section this year! I’m just starting my Year Abroad studying in the beautiful town of Tübingen in south-west Germany. The articles in this magazine are always fascinating and really varied, so I always look forward to reading The Linguist and I cannot wait to get started in my role! It is also a great opportunity to meet new people and to keep in contact with Birmingham while I’m away. As well as German, I also speak Welsh and I’m trying to learn some Basque and Czech too (although it isn’t going very well!)
