Hello everyone! My name is Megan and I’m the editor of the Spanish section. After writing for the magazine last year, I fell in love with it and wanted to get as involved as I possibly could this year.

I study International Relations at UoB, but I am currently on my year abroad in Madrid – soaking up the culture, language and, most importantly, the food! I adore the Spanish language and all forms of Hispanic culture and I cannot wait to share these passions with everyone throughout the year.

During my time as editor, I hope to help grow the readership of the Spanish section (and The Linguist as a whole) and to increase the interaction between our writers and readers. It is really important to me that we branch out further into the Hispanic world to find new topics and different perspectives to highlight in our articles.
